Time Out For Parents – Children with Additional Needs
Time Out For Parents courses from Care for the Family provide common sense, jargon-free information and ideas to help you engage with your children and boost your relationship.
If you have children with additional needs aged 3-11 years, then Time Out For Parents – Children with Additional Needs is for you.

Over the 7 sessions you’ll increase your skills and confidence as a parent and
discover practical tools to make your relationship with your child even better.

Every Tuesday excluding October half term week.

The aim of the parenting course is for the parent/caregiver to increase their confidence and abilities to parent, to allow the parents and caregivers to recognize and enhance their skills and share ideas about what they might like to do differently.
We look at Parenting children with additional needs, self esteem, coping with your feelings, understanding behaviour, managing behaviour, home and school issues, the wider family.
Each session will be for approximately 2 hours with booklets provided by ‘Care for the Family, Time Out for Parents.’

The aim of the course:
Five workshops focussing on the importance of dads and helping you to build an even better relationship with your children.
Whether you’re parenting as a couple, a single parent or away dad, this course aims to help you share your feelings and experiences and come up with solutions to your problems based on what works for you.
